Day 130 – Sunday 7 Feb – 12,181km, Yaounde, Cameroon

Faced with a relentless series of hills today, we bounced back each time with less & less speed, fueled by coke stops (Leo has a healthy addiction), the mental ups and downs were almost as varied as the terrain. Leo coped admirably however, especially considering it’s only his 2^nd day and we made it to Yaounde before dark. We have also moved up the accommodation scale from last night’s free digs to unbelievable hotel luxury courtesy of Leo’s generosity. Having just made the most of the rarity of free shampoo and conditioner even my beard now has some extra bounce and volume!
