Day 184 – Fri 2 April - 15,274km, Cabo Ledo,  Angola

With Helen determined to enjoy some holiday time this trip, we took a half day and stopped at the beautiful Cabo Ledo beach, where Paulo, Sonya and family kindly let us camp at their lodge for free. We even got in on the family meal, with Sonya’s mum’s sticky Portuguese bread one of the highlights of Angola to date! So far so good on the visa front as the police seem too occupied trying to extort money from holiday traffic to bother with two scruffy cyclists.
