Day 30 - 3011km Near Sidi Rahal, Morocco. You may not wish to continue hearing about my daily movements with a few days of eating like the locals, including a rich variety of street biscuits, pastries, pancakes and non-descript meats, resulting in some inevitable side effects; still at least bicycle shorts can be multi purpose - Paula Radcliffe clearly entered the wrong sport! Despite a few extra unscheduled stops, I made great progress through a busy and unspectacular coastal region fueled by food my body knows and loves - bananas, malt loaf and of course coca cola. Given the distance I've got to cover along the Atlantic Coast and wishing to get a closer look at dancing cobras and the Atlas mountains, I have headed inland on a slightly longer and more mountainous route via Marrakech. After a long search I have found the windiest camping spot in Morocco - at least the inquisitive kids and rabid dogs appear to have been blown away.
