Following a short ride through Del Monte banana country I teamed back up with my old man to meet our Brazilian friend Leo who has flown to Douala to join me for 10 days riding down to Libreville. Sharing a mutual love of sport it'll be great to have some company on the road, though it'll be interesting to see how we balance the aspirations and budget of a successful business man on a flying adventure with those of a redundant ecologist on an 8 month, shoe-string trip across Africa.
