> 6 foot under Gabon

Day 136 - Sat 13 Feb - 12,700km, Mitzic, Gabon
We continued our steady progress today on empty roads through beautiful rainforest terrain and quiet villages that bizarrely bury their dead on their own doorsteps. Personally I don’t think I could face walking over my mother in laws grave every time I went to go out for a beer but each to their own! Having stocked up ready to camp in the only town of the day we were hit by an incredible tropical storm and had to seek shelter in a local bar before being forced to check into a hotel where we commandeered the kitchen to cook up a pasta bonanza that has gone down a treat with the staff.
